Apex HDMI Sync TV Backlight works using a dedicated Sync Box that acts as a bridge between your external media source and your TV.

The Sync Box receives the video signal from an external HDMI device such as:

• PlayStation
• Xbox
• Apple TV
• Amazon Fire TV Stick
• Android TV Box
• Laptop or PC

The video signal passes through the Sync Box before reaching your TV. During this process, the Sync Box analyzes the colors displayed on the screen in real time and accurately synchronizes the LED backlight with the content being shown.

Because Smart TV built-in apps (such as Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, etc.) do not send their video signal through the HDMI Sync Box, the box cannot capture their color information. Therefore:

❌ Screen Sync Mode is not supported with built-in Smart TV apps.

✅ Screen Sync Mode works only with external HDMI devices connected through the Apex Sync Box.

• Step 1: Install the LED Strip

1. Locate the bottom-right corner on the back of your TV (when viewing the TV from the front).
2. Begin attaching the LED strip from this corner.
3. Continue sticking the strip in an anti-clockwise direction around the TV.
4. Once you reach the starting point again, cut the excess strip at the marked three brown cut points.
5. Connect the LED strip's C-Pin connector to the LED Strip port on the Sync Box.

• Step 2: Connect the HDMI Devices

1. Connect your external HDMI source (PlayStation, Fire TV Stick, Apple TV, etc.) to the HDMI Input on the Apex Sync Box.
2. Use the included HDMI cable to connect the HDMI Output of the Sync Box to your TV.

• Step 3: Power On

1. Connect the power adapter to the Sync Box.
2. Turn on your TV and external HDMI device.

• Step 4: Connect to the Smart Life App

1. Download the Smart Life app on your smartphone.
2. Sign in or create an account.
3. Make sure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.

Note: 5GHz Wi-Fi networks are not supported during setup.

• Step 5: Pair the Sync Box

1. Press and hold the Sync Box power button for 5 seconds.
2. The device will enter pairing mode.
3. Open the Smart Life app and add the detected device.
4. Complete the setup process.
